Penchrise Pen Hill Race

Conditions could hardly have been better for this year’s running of the Penchrise Pen Hill Race and subsequently we saw both the male and female records falling and I suspect a number of personal bests thrown in for good measure. First home was Brian Marshall of HELP in a time of 34:54 with Teviotdale’s Rory Anderson only 5 seconds behind also beating the previous record. Carnethy’s Charlotte Morgan was not far behind in third place regaining the female record by almost 3 minutes and only 3 seconds outside the previous male record finishing in 35:13.

Thanks to all 35 runners who came along, also a new record and also many thanks to all who came along to help out on the day.
