Teviotdale Harriers held the last race of their season in this their 125th Anniversary Year. The Moor Cup was held up on Hawick Racecourse in bright and fair conditions which was a welcome change to some of the soakings experienced recently.
First race of the day was the U11/U13 Boys and Girls with a good number lining up including newcomers Cara Jeffrey and twins Fraser and Joseph Casson. First overall to cross the line and also take the title of first boy was Fraser Clyne, 2nd Robin Lowthian and 3rd Liam Bouglas. Fastest actual time Fraser Clyne. Taking the lead early on and holding it right through to the line for 1st place in the girls event was Ellis Hodgins, 2nd Sophie Allot and 3rd Poppie Gibson. Fastest actual time Sophie Allot.
Next to run were the u15/u17 Boys, Girls and Ladies. In the Youth section 1st place went to Jamie Waugh and 2nd place to Joseph Tottman. Fastest actual time Jamie Waugh. In the Girls/Ladies section 1st place went to Connie Rafferty, 2nd place Lauren Corbett and 3rd place Emily Lockie. Fastest actual time Ishbel Inglis.
Last to run were the senior men with 18 on the start line. Following an exciting race for the finish line 1st place went to Paul Lockie, 2nd place Alister Biggar and 3rd place Derek Scott. Fastest actual time Derek Scott.
