Saturday 1st November saw 43 Harriers compete in the Jubilee Cup held on and around Hawick race-course.

The day was dry and blustery but wet and soft underfoot due to the recent heavy rains. First away were the U11/U13 boys and girls. In the girls race 1st place went to Nadine Elder in a time of 14.58, 2nd place Ava Hughes in 15.10 and 3rd place Macy Cropper in 15.36. Fastest actual time Carly Blaikie. In the boys race victory went to William Brodie in a time of 14.39, 2nd place Jai Patterson in 15.18 and 3rd place Sam Allott in 15.22. Fastest actual time Jai Patterson.

Next to run were the U15/U17 boys and the junior/senior women. Lauren Corbett took 1st place in the ladies race in a time of 23.43, 2nd place Donna Inglis in 23.51 and 3rd place Ishbel Inglis in 24.34. Fastest actual time Ishbel Inglis. In the boys category Joseph Tottman took 1st place in 22.43 with Jamie Waugh in 2nd place in a time of 23.27. Fastest actual time Jamie Waugh.

Last race of the day saw 19 senior men on the start line. Winner was Rory Anderson in 35.25, 2nd place Alex Corbett in 36.25 and 3rd place Michael Yule in 36.40. Fastest actual time Rory Anderson. All times include handicaps.
