EAST DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY RELAY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saturday past saw the start of the cross country season and the first visit for the club was to Dundee for the East District Cross Country Relay Championships. Held within Camperdown Park first off were the girls team made up of Ishbel Inglis, Emma Grieve and Catherine Mercer. The girls finishing as follows: Ishbel 10:55, Emma 12:10 and Catherine 11:57. Next the boys team made up of Jamie Waugh in his first ever East District race, and brothers David and James Mercer. Results as follows:- Jamie 10:35, David 11:55 and James 9:30. No full team for the ladies Donna Inglis 22:10 and Sylvia Grieve 22:50. Last to run were the senior men, Alan Inglis 15:58, Bill Knox 19:21, Alan Coltman 18:37 and Keith Learmonth 18:00.
