The expression ‘run your socks off’ means ‘to do something with a lot of energy or effort‘ according to the MacMillan Dictionary. As you can see from the picture above harrier Brian Gibb went well beyond this at our last club race – The Jubilee Cup – losing the soles of his spikes. What an inspiration. No guessing what he has at the top of his Christmas list!!
