A total of 32 brave souls met at 10am on New Year’s Day to take part in the annual social run, as well as a few keen well wishers. Although the weather was damp and miserable, spirits were high. Three different routes were covered, with all re-grouping on the Fisherman’s Path to observe a minute’s silence in remembrance of harriers no longer with us. Next, a very muddy route back to Buccleuch Lane then through the park to finish at the clubrooms.

In the afternoon the annual dominoes competition was held in the YM Clubrooms with a good number of harriers and their families attending. Barty and Barry soon got the draw organised and 3 tables began play. 1st place at the end of the day went to Robbie Robson, 2nd place (again!!) Donna Inglis, 3rd Derek Murdie and 4th Hollie Grieve. A good afternoon was had by all.
