National Cross Country Championships

Teviotdale Harriers were well represented by 25 runners at the National Cross Country Relay Championships last Saturday, held once more in Cumbernauld Park.

The cream of Scottish cross country running was on display, resulting in fierce and fast competition with eight national titles up for grabs.

In blustery conditions around a course with a few sharp hills to sap the legs, the seven and a bit teams representing the club gave gutsy performances across all the categories with one or two standout runs amongst them. Continue reading National Cross Country Championships

Jedburgh Running Festival

Teviotdale Harriers were well represented at Sundays Jedburgh Running Festival, both competing and organising.

Bruce Hughes (half), Lauren Corbett and Derek ‘Degsy’ Scott (both 10k) before competing at the Jedburgh Running Festival.

Anna Galbraith emerged victorious in the women’s 10k race, Lisa Welsh competed in her first race for the club and Bruce Hughes smashed his PB in the half-marathon. Continue reading Jedburgh Running Festival

Parking For The Scottish XC Relays

PLEASE NOTE that there is no parking at Cumbernauld High School this year. Parking is at St Maurice’s High School in Cumbernauld and there will be a shuttle bus service to the course – please allow a little more time when planning your arrival.
