The biggest turnout for many years, over 40 runners, enjoyed the Christmas Relays and everyone left with a prize.  The lead changed hands several times which led to much excitement, but in the end it was the Red Team, captained by Helen Clyne and anchored home by Scott Watson, who emerged as victors.

A small number of Harriers took the road to Cupar last Saturday for the East District Cross Country Championships. The conditions were tricky due to frozen rutted mud and the bitterly cold wind.
In the Under 17 Women Teviotdale’s Catherine Mercer was 18th in 26 minutes 52secs. In the Senior Men’s race Alan Coltman was 203rd in 54.02.

This Sunday has the popular Harriers Christmas Relays in Wilton Lodge Park. Races start at the Museum from 1pm with a prize for the best fancy dress and all runners receive a Team Prize.
