Presentation to Bill Knox

In recognition of a lifetime of representing Teviotdale Harriers, Club President Alan Coltman (Left) presents Bill Knox (Right) with a parting gift on his departure to a new life in the Far East.
On completion of the sale of his home in Edinburgh, Bill will join his family who have already moved out to the Philippines.
Alan said “Bill has represented Teviotdale at Club, District and National level nearly 800 times and as a club we thought it appropriate to give Bill a momento to remind him of his years with Teviotdale from boyhood through until last season”.
The gift of a framed action photo of Bill in a club race at the Moor was taken by Club member Alan Clyne and has the words “Thanks for a lifetime of representing the club. From all your friends at Teviotdale Harriers.
Bill said ” I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The inscription was simple and heart warming, something I’ll treasure forever. Our club is a truly great club, its history forged by countless individuals along the way. Our members (past & present) are the lifeblood and I’ve been truly fortunate to have been just one small part of it. A great club & great friends…thank you all.”
